Michal Fuchs is an Israeli visual artist who has lived in Germany since 2010. In 2020, she completed her diploma in metal sculpture at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. In her work, she often deals with the relationships between people and their environment, which she explores in sculptural installations using cultivated plants such as the Aleppo pine or the Tzaber cactus. Themes such as migration, land appropriation and displacement, as well as questions of community and rituals, shine through in her poetic works and are subtly thought-provoking.
