Soso Dumbadze is a filmmaker, media artist, and professor in Tbilisi, based in Cologne and Tbilisi. He studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and earned a PhD at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. His works have been shown at Bundeskunsthalle, Art Cologne, IDFA, and DOK Leipzig. He co-heads the BA program for Audiovisual Arts at GIPA and founded Sa.Ga. Publishing, which has released 20 books on media, culture, and society.
