Rebeca Ofek, an Israeli writer and director based in Berlin, began her career in 2004 as a video editor. In 2010, she started studying at the dffb, where she wrote and directed several short films that aired on German prime-time television and were screened at international festivals. Her notable works include “Biester” (2013) and “Jessy” (2022). She is currently working on her debut feature film, “Wie Die Gorillas” (FFA Screenplay Funding) and was Lead Director of the ZDFneo series “Doppelhaushälfte” this summer.
