At the age of 13, Mila Zhluktenko emigrated with her family from Kyiv to Munich. During her studies in documentary film directing at the HFF Munich, she made numerous short films, which were screened at many renowned festivals and received various awards. In addition to her work as a director, Mila Zhluktenko works as a film editor and as a program scout for the Munich Film Festival. She is a member of the editorial board of the film magazine REVÜ and an alumna of the ELES Studienwerk.
