Lisa Legina was born in 2003 in Heidelberg as the daughter of Jewish quota refugees from Russia. In 2022, she completed the IB Diploma Programme with a focus on film and began her Motion Pictures studies at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in the same year. In her film studies, she places a personal emphasis on directing and producing documentary films. Her first short documentary, „Eines Künstlers Weglein” (The Path of Our Inner Artist), has won several awards, including one at the Bundes.Festival.Film, one of Germany’s largest and most prestigious festivals for filmmakers of all ages. Alongside her studies, she works as a production assistant at the international film production company “Perennial Lens” in Darmstadt. She is also a scholarship holder of ELES.
