Leonid Kharlamov, born in 1981 in St. Petersburg, moved to Germany in 1995 and studied Fine Arts at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design as well as at the HFBK Hamburg. During his studies, he received a scholarship from the ELES Scholarship Foundation. His works operate at the intersection of video, performance, music, and painting. The focus of his art lies in human desires, needs, and the resulting political consequences.
