Amit’s writing appeared in Lilith, Emrys Journal, The Washington Square Review, The Sycamore Review, Granta and more. She is the author of 4 books, among them A Queer Way Out (2018) which received the 2019 AMEWS Book Award, as well as the short stories collection Moving on From Bliss (2016) which was awarded the Israeli government’s Prize for Debut Authors. She received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Vermont Studio center, the Bogliasco Foundation and the Thomas Mann House.
