Hadas Tapouchi (born in 1981) is an Israeli artist living in Berlin. She has an M.A degree from The Faculty of Arts – Hamidrasha, Israel. She works with photography and video integrating also a research-based approach and social interactions. In her artistic practice, she approaches history as a tool for understanding social relations as well as a medium for investigating urban and social transformations. Tapouchi focuses also on social constructs that manifest the normalization of power.

She received numerous grants (i.e. artistic grant of the Department of Culture Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and took part in several artist-in-residence programs.
