Elina Schkolnik, born 1994 in Berlin. Schkolnik has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Staatstheater Nürnberg since the 2022/23 season. There she took on the role of Edi in “Im Menschen muss alles herrlich sein” by Sasha Marianna Salzmann (director: Martina Gredler). She wrote her own monologue about revenge fantasies for the play “vendetta vendetta” by Thomas Köck, directed by Jan Philipp Gloger. She also conceived and performed a multilingual song recital entitled “Golubka” as part of the Nachtetage format. She is currently performing in “ÜBERGEWICHT, unwichtig: UNFORM” by Rieke Süßkow, which was invited to the Theatertreffen 2024. Between 2015 and 2018, she was regularly on stage with the Schlosspark Theater’s youth ensemble. After completing her Master’s degree in Social and Business Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts, she studied acting at the Konrad Wolf Film University in Potsdam from 2018 to 2022. During her studies, she worked with directors such as Sebastian Schwarz and Kathrin Wehlisch and was a lecturer for a directing project with Ukrainian refugees.
