Eliana Pliskin Jacobs is a visual artist, conceptual artist, performance artist, circus performer and classically trained Yiddish singer. She holds a BA in Art History and Fine Arts from UBC Vancouver and an MFA from HEAD-Geneva. Eliana has been performing as a professional aerialist since 2012 and teaches in North America and Europe. She has been an artist-in-residence in Finland and Leipzig and has shown her artwork in solo and group exhibitions and performances in Leipzig, Berlin, Kemijärvi, Joutsa, Geneva and Vancouver. As a singer, Eliana develops new Yiddish music and circus projects in Germany. Her artistic and performative practice is research-based, site-specific and multidisciplinary.
